GTG Training are recruiting for an Apprentice Autocare Technician based in Hereford. You will work full-time in a garage workshop, earning while you learn and progressing towards IMI automotive qualifications through GTG’s Modern Apprenticeship Programmes.
Apprentices will attend block release training weeks at GTG Wolverhampton, with regular assessments to ensure you gain the needed skills to complete the apprenticeship.

The Modern Apprenticeship Programmes allow apprentices to work full time and earn while they learn putting theory into practice within a training environment.
As well as attending the training centre for week block release of training, regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace which aims to ensure they have the required skills to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
You will be based within the garage workshop and will be involved in learning all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance, including vehicle servicing, MOT preparation, removal, replacement and overhaul of major components and electrical fault diagnostics.

Regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace with dedicated mentors from GTG and the apprentice’s workplace, which aims to ensure they have the required skills to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
You will train through GTG Wolverhampton, by attending block release training weeks, to Level 2 Autocare Technician or Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician.
GCSE Level or above in Maths, English and a Science or Technical subject or equivalent
