Job summary

Halfords Enfield offers an Autocare Technician Apprenticeship, delivering Level 2 standard. You'll train in MOT, servicing and car repairs across a modern workshop, gaining hands-on experience with traditional, hybrid and electronic engines.

You will learn diagnostics, parts testing and service checks, guided by a dedicated mentor. Training combines virtual classroom and face-to-face sessions at a dedicated training centre, with costs covered including travel and accommodation.

Qualifications

• Training provided via virtual classroom, remote learning and face-to-face weeks at training centre.
• Successful applicants travel to a centrally located training facility; training costs are covered.
• A dedicated mentor supports learning in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Use of diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults.
• Testing of parts and systems to ensure correct working.
• Carrying out bumper-to-bumper overview, service and inspection.
• Maintenance of electronic systems including on-board entertainment.
• Completion of legible paperwork for customers and centre records.
• Maintenance of a clean and tidy work environment.
