Halfords Autocentre offers a comprehensive apprentice programme where you gain hands-on experience on a wide range of vehicles, from basic servicing to complex diagnostics. You will learn safety, engineering fundamentals, and vehicle inspection as part of a structured college-based course and supervised on-the-job training.

Ideal candidates are practical, collaborative, and eager to develop diagnostic and repair skills with modern equipment, under guidance from mentors and lecturers.

Qualifications

GCSEs Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalents).
Interest in cars and solving problems.
Able to use hands and have a fit attitude due to manual work.
Knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance.
Enjoys working and fixing problems with cars.
Knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

Learn workplace safety, engineering basics, and vehicle inspection/servicing.
Develop maintenance, repair and diagnostic skills for engines, chassis and electrical systems.
Gain hands-on experience across a variety of vehicles daily.
