Job summary

Halfords Autocentre Apprentice programme offers hands-on training across servicing, inspections and diagnostics in a busy Autocentre. You will learn to diagnose and repair vehicles while attending college one day per week, with a total 40-hour workweek (44 hours for those over 18).

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (Or Equivalents).
• Friendly, team-oriented candidate with a strong desire to build a career as an Auto Vehicle Technician.
• Interest in cars and solving problems; able to use hands and be fit for manual work.
• Knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance and enjoyment in fixing cars.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/PC tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards within Autocentre workflows.
• Work on servicing, inspections and repairs across various makes/models.
• Attend college one day per week while working in the Autocentre.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
