Job summary

Citizens is seeking an Appraisal Service Coordinator on the Collateral Fulfillment team. This role supports appraisal processes by coordinating orders with AMCs and appraisers, monitoring SLAs, and ensuring timely completion through proactive communication and CMS updates.

Responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, updating the CMS, and serving as the primary contact for appraisals. Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage processing, appraisal review, or AMC; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with internet-based tools; experience with FNC/CMS platforms is a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of mortgage banking products, workflows, and property valuation processes.
• Proven background in delivering high-quality customer service with responsiveness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage appraisal and evaluation reports obtained through third-party vendor relationships with AMCs.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of open appraisal orders with multiple AMCs and panel appraisers.
• Track order status using system reports to meet SLA due dates and address delays.
• Identify orders outside SLA milestones and take corrective action.
• Confirm inspections with appraisers and maintain progress to meet closing deadlines.
• Regularly contact AMCs for updates on orders nearing SLA thresholds.
