Qualifications

• Prior banking experience with an understanding of real estate lending preferred.

• Strong communication skills and detail orientation for proactive vendor follow-up.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Appraisal Review staff, loan personnel, and appraisers.
• Willingness to take beginner appraiser classes as time permits.

Responsibilities

• Appraisal Engagement: Engage and assign third-party appraisers for loan requests, including specialized products.
• Order Monitoring & Follow-Up: Track pending orders and communicate with appraisers to meet deadlines.
• Environmental Risk Pre-Screens: Conduct pre-screens for new/renewed applications based on balances.
• Roster & Credential Management: Maintain approved appraiser list and ensure licenses and insurance are current.
• Database Support: Assist in maintaining internal real estate sales comps database.
• Departmental Support: Perform additional duties for the Appraisal Review Department.
