Texas Health Resources is seeking an Appointment Scheduling Specialist for Neurology Consulting Dallas. You will manage patient appointments, verify coverage, and coordinate tests and referrals within a busy clinic.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, clear communication, and teamwork to support high-quality patient care and smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 2 years related experience in healthcare environment (Highly Preferred).
• Strong customer focus with good communication and professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
• Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments.
• Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments.
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions.
• May collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance.
• Gather insurance information and patient personal data.
• Demonstrate positive professional customer service in all contacts.

Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Experience

• 2 years related experience in healthcare environment (Highly Preferred)
