Job summary

Exact Medicare is seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent to help individuals navigate Medicare programs, explain options (Parts C & D, Med Supp/MediGap), and recommend plans based on needs. You will guide enrollment and transitions between plans while delivering exceptional service.

You will educate clients on benefits, manage high-volume calls with accuracy, maintain records, and ensure compliance with CMS regulations, while consistently meeting sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed health insurance agent with current license.
• AHIP certification current.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to contract with multiple MAPD carriers.
• Comfortable in a metrics-driven sales environment with call compliance.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent to assist individuals in navigating Medicare programs. In this role, you will educate clients on Medicare options (Parts C & D as well as Med Supp/MediGap and ancillary products), recommend suitable plans based on their needs, and help with enrollment and transitions between plans.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Holds valid health insurance license.
• Can provide proof of release or intent to release if previously or currently appointed elsewhere.
• Current plan year AHIP certification.
• Understanding of sales and ability to generate revenue.
• Capability to contract and become RTS (ready-to-sell) with multiple insurance carriers (3 main MAPD carriers or 2 main MAPD carriers and one approved secondary carrier.)
• Comfortable operating in a metrics-driven environment with expectations around sales performance, and call compliance.
• Ability to work in compliance with CMS Federal regulations.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Must be authorized to legally work in the United States without sponsorship.
