Job summary

Carrier's Applied Solutions Engineer works with the commercial sales organization to provide training, technical guidance and support. You will create HVAC training programs, product application guides and interactive modules to strengthen the value of our solutions.

Based in Charlotte, NC with up to 50% travel across North America, you will present at seminars and support software tool usage for the sales team while collaborating with product and applications teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering field preferred.
• 5+ years in HVAC industry as an Applied Commercial Equipment Sales Engineer, Building Automation Sales Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across North America.
• Must have a valid passport or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver HVAC training programs, materials and e-training modules.
• Present technical information in-person or virtually to large groups.
• Provide technical guidance and training support for software tools used by the sales team.
• Research industry trends and technologies to stay competitive.
