Amazon's Identity Security & Abuse Prevention (ISAP) team seeks an Applied Scientist to design, build, and own machine learning systems that detect abuse patterns and automate enforcement across Amazon's identity landscape. You will lead production ML deployments, improve existing detectors, and explore greenfield detection for emerging threats.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building models for business applications.
• Experience in patents or publications at top-tier conferences/journals.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience in algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, data mining, and high-performance computing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production ML systems for abuse detection and automated enforcement.
• Independently frame security problems into scientific questions and drive from hypothesis to production.
• Own and improve detection models end-to-end and monitor drift.
