Job summary

Prime Video, an Amazon service, is hiring an Applied Scientist to advance AI content generation. You will develop generative AI, computer vision, and deep learning models to improve entertainment experiences for a global audience.

You will lead end-to-end ML projects, run experiments, deploy models, and collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to productize solutions that delight customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master’s degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience in algorithms, data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, HPC.

Responsibilities

• Build generative AI models that create production-ready content across Prime Video’s platform.
• Drive end-to-end ML projects with ambiguity, scale, and complexity.
• Build, experiment, optimize, and deploy ML models.
• Run experiments, gather data, and perform statistical analysis.
• Establish scalable, automated processes for data analysis, model development, validation and serving.
• Research new ML approaches.
• Share knowledge and research outcomes via internal and external conferences and publications.
