Job summary

Goldbelt Apex is seeking a Research Physiologist to support development and execution of human integrative physiology studies in operational and military training environments. The role involves conducting field research with military populations, collecting physiological data, and ensuring compliance with IRB and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include organizing and analyzing data, preparing tables and figures for reports and presentations, and coordinating laboratory and field

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in human bioenergetics, exercise physiology, or a related field.
• Experience in applied human-performance research within military or tactical populations.
• Experience coordinating IRBs and other oversight bodies for human-use research.
• Experience organizing and analyzing research data and presenting findings.
• Travel may be required (CONUS).
• Must obtain a favorable Tier 3 investigation or equivalent prior to contract work.

Responsibilities

• Conducts applied human-performance research involving military and tactical populations.
• Collects and analyzes physiological measurements (oxygen consumption, metabolism, skin blood flow, heart rate, core and skin temperature).
• Coordinates IRB and other human-use research documentation and compliance activities.
• Organizes, analyzes, and interprets research data and prepares tables, graphs, reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
