Job summary

Walla Walla Community College is accepting applications for a part-time Applied Communications Adjunct Assistant Professor to be part of a pool of professionals we can reach out to for teaching vocational Communications courses. WWCC offers opportunities to teach courses at all campuses: Walla Walla, Clarkston, Washington State Penitentiary, Coyote Ridge Corrections Center, and online/remotely.

Part-time adjunct positions offer flexible hours and the college will draw from the pool as scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications or closely related credentialing.
• Demonstrated proficiency teaching at the college level (two years minimum).
• For remote work, residency must be in WA, OR, ID, CA, IL, NE, NV, PA, or TX.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes and provide comprehensive syllabi at the start of the term.
• Deliver engaging instruction and timely feedback on assignments and exams.
• Maintain student records and adhere to college grading policies.
• Be available for at least one office hour per week and coordinate with the department.
