Job summary

Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is building an adjunct pool for Accounting courses during the 2026-2027 academic year across multiple campuses and online options. The role may include HyFlex teaching and various business courses as needed.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
For remote work, must reside in either WA, OR, ID, CA, IL, NE, NV, PA, or TX.
2 years+ of current, relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare curriculum and teach lower and upper division accounting and business courses.
Develop relationships with employers and community.
Participate in outreach activities to recruit students.
Provide direction for students with a wide variety of abilities and diverse backgrounds.
Manage courses through Canvas LMS.
Employ technology tools appropriate to learning activities.
Conduct appropriate and frequent evaluation of student performance and provide feedback.
Assign grades and maintain student records.
Maintain course outlines and provide students with a comprehensive syllabus that includes measurable learning outcomes.
Develop quarterly course schedules and mentor students on program options, career plans, and graduation requirements.
Maintain an on-campus presence including office hours.
Serve on a variety of college and department committees.
Participate in special college events including student club activities.
Participate in commencement ceremonies wearing academic robes.
Maintain commitment to professional development.
