Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a paid position working with children and/or adolescents with special needs.
• Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, special education, or a related field.
• State Certification as a special education teacher or regular education teacher is helpful.
• Must have completed the 40-hours of training for an RBT and passed the RBT exam with active BACB status.
• Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies, learning theories, and ethics in interventions.
• Skills include data collection, reporting, and maintaining client records.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual sessions.
• Run skill acquisition programs under ABA and Verbal Behavior analysis.
• Complete weekly program recording and maintain client’s Program Book.
• Complete daily paperwork including Daily Report and Parent Signature Log.
• Work with BCBA/BCaBA to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect data as instructed by the BCBA.
• Maintain confidentiality and client well-being during sessions.
• Arrive on-time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Other duties as assigned by the BCBA or Agency administrator.
• Attend trainings and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Complete RBT training within six months of employment.
