Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist
Rush Kids Pediatric is hiring a full-time Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist for our pediatric location in St. Charles, IL. An ABA therapist works with children with an Autism diagnosis in our local facility or in the child’s home. They implement ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/Case Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering care for children served by Behavior Tech based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Collecting and recording data based on observable client behavior
- Implementing services based on the principles of Verbal Behavior and Applied Behavior Analysis to children 2-12
- Providing direct services to individuals with Autism under the supervision of the BCBA
- Maintaining ongoing documentation of goals, progress toward functional goals, and medical necessity
- Maintaining open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payers
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field (ABA Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, Speech Pathology, etc.)
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
