Job summary

LILT is seeking a Technical Project Manager for our Applied AI team to lead data programs improving ASR for low-resource languages. This four-month fixed-term contract requires 4–6 hours per day, with ownership of end-to-end delivery and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer goals.

You will guide multilingual teams, manage quality and timelines, and ensure privacy and secure data handling. This role emphasizes outcomes and scalable processes in a fast-evolving AI environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing high-volume, deadline-driven service delivery in data annotation, transcription, localization, content operations, BPO or a comparable field.
• Demonstrated success leading distributed teams to meet demanding delivery and quality goals.
• Strong ability to use data, dashboards, and forecasting to guide decisions on delivery, quality, and cost.
• Working knowledge of quality assurance for AI training data, including evaluation, sampling, and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent written English and the ability to write unambiguous instructions for multilingual contributors.
• Adaptability to bring structure to ambiguous requirements and lead programs in evolving environments.
• Able to commit for the full contract term.

Responsibilities

• Program and Volume Delivery: Own end-to-end program plans, from pilot and calibration through scaled production and final delivery, aligning scope, staffing, and milestones with customer requirements.
• Team Leadership and Capacity Building: Assemble multilingual delivery teams and align capacity with program goals.
• Quality and Data Handling: Ensure AI datasets meet customer standards and support model improvements.
• Reporting and Stakeholder Communication: Build trust and translate progress and risks into updates for customers and stakeholders.
• Tooling and Process: Translate program needs into tooling improvements and scalable playbooks.
