Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join the Applied AI team in Bellevue, WA. You will help design, implement, and operate LM-based solutions that scale for hundreds of billions in revenue, collaborating with Applied Scientists, PMs, and Sr.

SDEs. The role emphasizes distributed systems, secure and maintainable code, and cutting-edge tools like Python, Java, SageMaker, PyTorch, and Langchain.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems and tools enabling accelerated knowledge operations
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists, Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, and Sr. SDEs
• Apply distributed system design patterns to scale ML/AI workloads
