Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer, Applied AI (Application Software) to serve as a technical partner across Sales, Product, and Engineering, guiding the exploration and deployment of large language models into real products.

You will design practical testing approaches, build prototypes, and advise on system architectures for AI-powered applications, while prioritizing safety, reliability, and responsible deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or engineering.
• 1+ years engineering or operations experience.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Experience delivering production-grade applications with LLMs.
• Knowledge of prompt design, evaluation methods, agent systems, and retrieval architecture.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams to design technical approaches aligned with goals.
• Serve as the main technical contact, coordinating end-to-end outcomes.
• Build prototypes and PoCs that illustrate integration with Spok/Grok.
• Advise on system architectures for AI-powered applications and LLMs.
• Keep current LLM technologies and best practices in fast-moving environments.
