Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join the Applied AI team and work on LLM-based solutions, developing and maintaining scalable systems for knowledge operations and applying ML techniques to support Amazon’s eCommerce business.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to design, architect, and implement high-quality software that delivers customer value, with emphasis on distributed systems and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
• Experience programming in at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using Python, Java, containers, SageMaker, PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, Langchain.
• Ensure code quality, security, testability, maintainability, and efficiency.
