Job summary

Metropolis Technologies in New York seeks a Senior Product Manager, Applied AI to lead internal product strategy and drive AI-first transformation across the company. You will partner with leaders across Finance, Operations, GTM and AI Engineers to identify bottlenecks and turn them into scalable agentic workflows and internal applications.

You are a deeply analytical, product-driven leader with hands-on AI prototyping experience who can ship fast, iterate, and measure impact across business

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management or technical leadership with AI focus.
• Experience shipping AI-powered apps or automation for internal use.
• Familiar with LLMs, prompts, agentic patterns and RAG architectures.
• Hands-on prototyping and AI tooling beyond guiding others.
• Knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, AWS and modern data stacks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong change management and user empathy for AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize the internal AI product roadmap and translate challenges into specs.
• Map workflows with leaders across functions to drive automation adoption.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to deploy internal apps, prompts, and pipelines.
• Define PRDs and metrics; track time savings, errors, and costs.
• Lead agile cycles and collect user feedback to improve tools.
• Oversee change management for sustained cross‑team impact.
• Monitor reliability and business value of deployed systems.
• Prototype solutions hands-on, not just write specifications.
