Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Operations Engineer, Applied AI (Application Software) to partner with internal teams, explore platforms, and design strategies for integrating large language models into products and infrastructure. You will deliver AI-powered solutions while prioritizing safety and responsible deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM or engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in engineering or operations/process development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to design technical approaches aligned with goals.
• Act as main technical contact, enabling end-to-end support across teams.
• Build prototypes and PoCs showing integration with Spok/Grok.
• Advise on system architecture for AI-enabled applications using LLMs.
• Stay current with evolving LLM tech and tooling.
