Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Operations Engineer, Applied AI (Application Software) to partner with internal teams and explore AI platform capabilities. You will design practical testing approaches and systems that deliver real results with LLMs.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to support adoption from exploration to deployment, building robust prototypes and guiding architecture decisions in a fast-paced, high-safety environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of engineering or operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to design technical approaches aligned with goals.
• Serve as the main technical contact, coordinating end-to-end efforts.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concept apps showing LLM integrations.
• Advise on system architectures and support advanced AI applications.
• Keep up with evolving LLM tech and best practices.
