Regeneron is seeking a Manager, Applied AI to join the Advanced Informatics team. You will design and validate AI/ML solutions for health data, collaborating with clinical informaticists, data engineers, and production ML engineers to build reusable analytical capabilities.

The role involves framing informatics challenges, building ML pipelines, running experiments, and applying cutting-edge techniques to biomedical data while contributing to internal reports and publications.

Formación

• Degree in a relevant field and advanced degree preferred.
• Experience designing and evaluating AI/ML models on health data.
• Ability to independently develop and evaluate models.

Responsabilidades

• Frame informatics challenges into AI/ML problems with clear success criteria.
• Design and build ML pipelines for data ingestion, feature engineering, training, evaluation.
• Run experiments and ablation studies to guide modeling decisions.
• Collaborate across teams to deploy models into workflows.
• Stay updated on foundation models and retrieval-augmented generation for biomedical data.
• Document research findings for reports, publications, or conference presentations.
• Explain model behavior and performance to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
