Job summary

You will design scalable data pipelines, collaborate with engineers, analysts, scientists, and IT, and contribute to a digital transformation across Regeneron's data platforms in a partly onsite, hybrid work model in Tarrytown, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years designing and maintaining infrastructure for clinical/biomedical data.
• Proficient with SnowFlake, RedShift, BigQuery, Databricks; Python, SQL, R.
• Cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps; well-documented code.
• Experienced in building and scaling pipelines for structured/unstructured data.
• Strong analytical skills; attention to data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, 21 CFR Part 11 and CDISC/HL7/FHIR.
• Familiar with ML pipelines integrated with clinical data platforms.
• Excellent communication and documentation to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to shape data strategy for digital transformation and AI/ML.
• Design end-to-end data architectures supporting analytic, operational, and research needs.
• Develop schema and data models for clinical data that are standards-compliant.
• Build and scale pipelines that monitor and improve data quality from internal/external sources.
• Collaborate with GD and enterprise IT to implement a modern data platform.
• Automate routine workflows and optimize data platform performance.
• Mentor junior members and evaluate emerging data engineering innovations.
