Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to support a national security mission, serving as a trusted technical advisor and architecting Claude-based solutions in secure environments.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to guide discovery through deployment, primarily on-site, while maintaining safety and reliability in all deliverables. Strong communication and domain expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience in US intelligence community as civilian or cleared contractor.
• 4+ years in technical roles with customer collaboration.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and building production apps.
• Hands-on expertise in cyber/IC domains or mission systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a specialist technical advisor for national security programs, coordinating across teams to drive customer success.
• Support the customer as they build with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise.
• Partner with account executives to translate mission requirements into technical solutions.
• Influence architecture decisions and integration into the customer stack via pilots and evaluation suites.
• Lead hands‑on technical workshops and code reviews with customer teams.
• Create and deliver technical content from deep dives to executive briefings.
