Fanatics is hiring full-time Applied AI Engineers to join a senior team that embeds within business units to automate workflows with AI agents. You will own problems end to end: define, design, build, prove, and drive adoption, with executive visibility and direct lines to leadership.

We seek candidates with proven AI work at startups or fast-growing companies, capable of delivering real business value with frontier models and modern agent stacks. NYC office and competitive benefits are offered.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in applied AI or software engineering, including startup or fast-growing environments.
• Track record of building and deploying custom agents or agentic workflows with frontier LLMs that solved real business problems.
• Fluency with modern AI stack: LLM APIs, MCP, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, RAG, and evals.
• Strong coding skills (Python preferred) and judgment to pick the right tool.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguity with speed and ownership.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on delivery to drive business outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/ML/SE or related field; equivalent practical experience.

• Design, build, and deploy production-grade agents and agentic workflows.
• Move fast: turn high-impact use cases into working solutions in weeks.
• Decide between custom agents or configuring existing tools to solve problems.
• Partner with business leaders to drive AI-enabled outcomes.
• Define ROI and measure success for AI initiatives.
• Set company-wide AI standards including security and governance.
• Share wins and coach others to automate by default.
