Sapience AI Corporation is seeking an experienced Engineer to build agentic AI systems that understand requests, reason over community knowledge, and take reliable actions within the MINERVA platform.

You will ground behavior in the KO graph and COGENT architecture, integrating neural and symbolic reasoning while ensuring safety and production readiness. This role sits between product and AI stack.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in software engineering with applied AI experience.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems and LLM applications.
• Strong grounding, retrieval, and safe AI design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the agents that let MINERVA understand requests, reason, and take action.
• Own orchestration, planning, and tool use, and keep it dependable.
• Ground agent behavior in the KO graph and the COGENT architecture for real knowledge grounding.
• Integrate neural and symbolic reasoning into applied behavior.
• Build tools and actions agents use with safe data access.
• Establish guardrails, safety, and provenance for trusted operation.
• Evaluate agent quality and instrument production behavior.
