To do this, we employ some of the industry's most creative minds. **Position Summary:** The Applications Technologist I position supports the development of a wide variety of beverage products. **We offer you the opportunity to:** * Optimize beverage based formulations with understanding of processing parameters.* Screen flavors in various beverage bases.* Complete selection and resample projects in a timely manner.* Participate in routine taste panels to understand flavor language.* Work collaboratively with sales and marketing presentations and demos for customers.* Utilize flavor knowledge to select best flavor for each application and work closely with flavor creation team to optimize flavors when needed* Provide technical support on customer calls* Perform routine processing of batches (carbonation, analytical tests, etc.)* Write basic production formulas with guidance of Senior Applications Technologist.* Make minor revisions to existing formulas under direct supervision. **In order to be successful in this position we require:** * Bachelor of Science in Food Science or other applied science.* 0-3 years of application lab experience in beverage product development.* Ability to work accurately, quickly and with good laboratory practices across multiple projects within the day/week.* You must possess good documentation skills, and be adept at working within programs such as Excel, Word & assorted databases.* Soft skills: we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a team player, engaging and able to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively.### ### Salary Range: $56,000 to 76,000### ### ### The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
