Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant technical discipline and 5 years of relevant experience; additional experience, education, and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Active Secret with SSBI or Top-Secret security clearance.
- Current DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 or higher certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+/CE, CASP, or CISSP).
- Experience installing, managing, and maintaining RHEL 7 Linux servers in a production environment.
- Experience troubleshooting and managing virtualized infrastructure in a VMware ESXi environment.
- Experience deploying and managing infrastructure and software applications to the AWS cloud.
- Experience applying DevOps concepts and tools to automate tasks and ensure baseline consistency across environments.
- Experience deploying, managing, monitoring, and maintaining complex software products such as WildFly/JBoss, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, HAProxy.
- Experience with deploying McAfee HBSS tools in a Linux environment.
- Scripting experience in Bash, Perl, or Python.
- Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
- Knowledge of security settings and IA best practices, including DISA STIGs and SRGs.
- Experience supporting, installing, and configuring enclave Ethernet switches, SAN, and NAS.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of the ENET solution through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain configuration management and baseline control across environments.
- Conduct security scans, analyze results, and implement resolutions, ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs.
- Operate and maintain the ENET solution, including patching and backups.
- Monitor and tune system and network performance.
- Configure, manage, and maintain SDN components.
- Deploy systems in the lab, perform testing, and validation.
- Manage configuration items, licenses, SSL certificates, and hardware/software baselines.
- Support deployments, upgrades, and updates to production, including hardware/software installation and configuration.
- Lead migration of infrastructure and applications to AWS cloud.
- Document procedures and maintain documentation.
- Perform trend analysis on failures and outages.
- Coordinate with vendors and troubleshoot environment issues.
- Manage user and service account access.
- Provide support during business hours and on-call as required.
Qualifications:
- RHCSA or LPIC certification.
- Experience managing HPE BladeSystem enclosures, including Onboard Administrator, iLO, and interconnect modules.
- Experience with Ansible automation.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Understanding of PostgreSQL management and maintenance.
- Experience with enclave Fiber/Ethernet switches, HPE SAN/NAS storage.
- Experience with ticketing systems like BMC Remedy or Atlassian JIRA.
- Experience administering Windows Server 2012 R2 or higher.
Clearance/Citizenship:
- Secret clearance required.
- Must be a US citizen.
This position involves less than 10% travel.
