ClinicalConnect HIE Systems Analyst Senior Job Description

ClinicalConnect HIE is seeking a Systems Analyst - Senior for a full-time, remote position working daylight hours, Monday through Friday. Due to application support needs, evening and weekend hours may also be required.

About ClinicalConnect HIE: We are Western Pennsylvania's Health Information Exchange (HIE), a partnership of regional healthcare providers dedicated to improving patient care through secure electronic medical record sharing.

Responsibilities:
  1. Documentation: Create detailed documentation for new and complex processes, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  2. Requirements Gathering: Extract and document customer and business needs for use by architecture and engineering teams.
  3. Support: Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues, mentoring less experienced staff.
  4. Project Management: Lead projects, assign tasks, meet milestones, and update project tracking tools.
  5. SDLC: Understand various system development life cycles.
  6. Data Security and Quality: Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
  7. Vendor Relations: Interact with vendors, escalate issues, and manage technical communications.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Write and modify complex reports, analyze data, and communicate findings effectively.
  9. End User Training: Develop training content, facilitate sessions, and train peers.
  10. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements independently.
  11. Application Upgrades: Support upgrades, create test plans, validate functionality, and coordinate cutover plans.
  12. Communication and Collaboration: Exhibit clear communication, collaborate effectively, and mentor team members.
  13. Self-Development: Engage in ongoing learning, seek feedback, and stay current with industry trends.
  14. System Integration and Operations: Coordinate system integration, oversee production support, manage change requests, and ensure SLA adherence.
