We currently have an opening for an Applications Systems Analyst II.
The position is designated Statutory Exempt and is exempt from the State Human Resources Act.
This position may be eligible for hybrid remote work in accordance with state policy and the agency’s remote work program but does require weekly onsite work.
The Department of Information Technology (DIT) serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC. Services provided reach a client base of state and local government agencies, as well as schools, colleges, and universities. The NCID Service is a unified digital identity management and authorization system for the State’s eBusiness, providing authentication, authorization, administration, and auditing functions.
As a member of the Identity Management (IdM) team, the Applications Systems Analyst II is responsible for Java application development and integration of NCID products with DIT and other state agency applications.

Preferred skills include knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, LDAP, SAML, and basic project management.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field plus two years of experience, or an associate degree plus three years, or a high school diploma plus six years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
This position offers a hybrid/flexible work schedule, with up to 120 days to relocate if necessary. The state offers comprehensive benefits, including retirement, paid leave, holidays, and employee perks.
