The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) Information Technology Services Division is seeking an Applications Support Supervisor (IT Application Development Senior/Specialist) in Olympia, WA to lead the Applications Support Team. You will mentor staff, implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, and collaborate with Product, Systems Analysis, and SQA to drive reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience in System Administration and Development with three (3) years in a lead or supervisory position.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field plus required years of experience as applicable.
• Professional certification in relevant DevOps/Cloud tools is expected as part of qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of application development and system administration personnel.
• Establish short- and long-term objectives for application development and support services.
• Mentor, train, and motivate staff to achieve high performance.
• Identify and streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote open communication and collaboration between ITSD sections and other teams.
• Develop and maintain complex, secure web interfaces and APIs.
• Oversee roadmaps and ensure alignment with technology portfolios.
