Citi in New York is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to resolve issues for trading and business users, ensuring system stability and performance. You will monitor environments, run daily checks, and coordinate regional handovers for around-the-clock operations.

The role requires 5+ years in application support, strong Unix/SQL skills, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Hybrid work model and extensive benefits offered.

• 5+ years of experience in an application support role, including installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
• Working knowledge of Unix and SQL, along with familiarity with programming languages and a willingness to build new technical skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate information from multiple sources.
• Experience using issue tracking, reporting and problem management tools.
• Ability to organize workload and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Run start-of-day checks, continuous monitoring and regional handovers to maintain smooth operations around the clock.
• Perform same-day risk reconciliations and assess the impact of production issues, escalating promptly to business and technology management.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities and security issues across supported applications and communicate their impact to stakeholders.
• Partner with development and production support teams to prioritize bug fixes and shape tooling requirements.
• Support application releases from development through testing and deployment, then review results to confirm successful performance.
• Coach junior analysts and act as the key liaison between users, internal technology teams and vendors.
