Pay Info: Pay starts at $26 and increases with experience.
Job Summary
Performs routine healthcare information system and application support. Uses analytical skills to investigate or escalate issues, resolves incidents and service requests, and assists in creating and maintaining training documentation. Supports training sessions and recommends workflow improvements. Creates and analyzes reports using multiple mechanisms.
The Applications Support Analyst gathers, analyzes, designs, develops, tests, implements, evaluates, and maintains information technologies to support business needs. Works collaboratively with other departments and vendors, manages change effectively, and prioritizes daily tasks. Must have excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in software such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools is required.
Knowledge of multimedia tools, training documentation, software development, or web applications is preferred. Basic knowledge of ITIL philosophies and awareness of relevant laws and regulations is helpful.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required. Experience with OnBase or RightFax is preferred. Focus areas in IT, Healthcare, Business, or related fields are advantageous. One year of relevant experience is preferred. If applicable, IT certification must be obtained within six months of hire and within three attempts.
