Applications Specialist

Position Overview
The Applications Specialist manages user and data administration across enterprise systems, including Salesforce, TrueContext, Property Management System (PMS), and ERP platforms. In this role, you will ensure our technology infrastructure remains secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational objectives. Collaborating closely with IT, Product Management, and various business stakeholders, you will drive system enhancements, provide expert support, and promote efficient application utilization.
User Administration
- Manage user account creation, updates, and deactivation, ensuring proper permissions and access controls.
- Monitor user activities to uphold security standards and compliance.
- Provide prompt and effective resolution to user access and permission-related issues.
Data Administration
- Execute data import and export processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
- Conduct routine data quality audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Generate and maintain insightful reports and dashboards to support informed business decisions.
Application Deployments and Updates
- Coordinate with IT and Product teams to plan and execute software deployments, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
- Test and validate software updates for reliability, stability, and performance.
- Quickly identify and resolve deployment-related issues.
Technical Documentation & SOPs
- Develop and update detailed technical documentation, including user guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base materials.
- Collaborate closely with IT and product teams to ensure documentation remains accurate and reflects current system capabilities.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Engage proactively with IT, product management, and business stakeholders for requirement gathering, training, and system improvements.
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear alignment on objectives and priorities.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered).
- Preferred certifications: Salesforce Administrator
Required Experience
- Proven expertise in Application administration, including user management and access control.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise application data management (import/export and data integrity).
- Familiarity with application deployment, software testing, and troubleshooting processes.
Preferred Experience
- Advanced skills in Salesforce configuration and data management.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems common in housing or hospitality sectors.
- Experience with data analytics or business intelligence platforms.
