Job Summary

Performs functions such as posting payments and adjustments to patient accounts, preparing daily bank deposits, reconciling bank and book discrepancies, and preparing reports. Requires at least two years of clerical experience, preferably in a hospital or accounting environment. PC skills with Microsoft Windows and Excel are necessary. Banking and cash reconciliation experience is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payors is desirable. Must have good communication skills and be able to read various records quickly and accurately.
