Job summary

The City of Fort Collins seeks a technology professional for the Applications Software Analyst II role. This on-site position supports Streets and Traffic systems including Cityworks, Centracs, and PowerBI, ensuring reliable operation for transportation services.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 3 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in .NET, Python, SQL, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum: College degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field.
• Three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Office 365 or Microsoft Office 2016 including Excel for analytics.
• Intermediate to advanced programming skills in .NET C# or VB, Python, and SQL; relational databases.
• Enterprise reporting using Crystal Reports or SSRS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and application administration for software and technology systems used by Streets and Traffic.
• Configure and maintain applications, manage user access and dashboards, monitor systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, review contracts, and ensure quality delivery.
• Support system upgrades, integrations, APIs, configuration changes, and data feeds.
• Troubleshoot incidents and resolve data integrity issues across applications and databases.
• Ensure compliance with CJIS Security Policy and state reporting standards.
