Job summary

Bio-Techne in Newark, CA is seeking an Applications Scientist to generate high-quality data and develop application-focused insights that demonstrate Bio-Techne technologies across research workflows. The role designs and executes studies validating product performance, expands capabilities, and supports emerging research areas.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, R&D, and external partners to translate findings into evidence-based strategies.

Qualifications

Advanced scientific training in a life sciences discipline; PhD or Master's preferred.
Up to 5 years of related industry/research experience.
Ability to design and analyze scientific studies.

Responsibilities

Design, optimize, execute, and analyze scientific studies to generate application data.
Develop application strategies and generate evidence to address customer needs.
Translate findings into technical documents, scientific publications, and educational content.
Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams to support product development and launches.
Travel up to 20% for customer visits, conferences, and training.
