Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc is seeking an Applications Engineering Intern to support the Data Center Solutions Business Unit. You will assist in developing tools, demos, and lab bring-up, while debugging customer boards and preparing collaterals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in BS or MS Electrical/Computer/CS Engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Setting up lab equipment including installation of OS, Drivers, tools, debuggers, analyzers etc.
• Bring-up and debug customer evaluation boards
• Develop and maintain customer collaterals, custom firmware and diagnostic tools
• Recreate, collect, analyze, debug and root cause customer reported problems in a lab environment
• Develop and provide product training to customers and internal teams
• Demonstrate new product features, capabilities in industry events and trade shows
• Performance and power measurement and analysis
