Microchip Technology Inc is seeking a qualified Applications Engineer for the Data Center Solutions unit. You will provide best-in-class technical support to customers evaluating and adopting our Data Center Solution products, collaborating with Product Development, Validation, Marketing, and Sales to enable production ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CE/CSE/EE or related field.
• 5–7.5 years in FW development for storage/AI/ML tools preferable.
• Strong firmware debugging and embedded skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and resolve technical issues for DCS hardware/firmware.
• Debug firmware, software and protocol issues for enterprise storage devices.
• Collaborate across product, validation, marketing and sales teams.
• Develop customer collaterals and training materials.
• Travel within North America and internationally as needed.
