Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science required.
• Mold design or tooling design training is a big plus.
• Project management skills are required.
• Working knowledge of modern manufacturing processes and practices.
• Good oral and written communication skills; ability to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in plastic joining to customers, sales force, and other engineers.
• Provide feasibility evaluations and reports, quotes and other information to meet customer expectations.
• Create and maintain ISO/TQM compliant documentation for product development and manufacturing.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently; report progress to management.
• Coordinate with internal groups and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
• Test and debug final tools prior to run-off with customers; travel to customer facilities as needed.
• Assist with post-sales startup at customer sites.
• Prevent and resolve customer problems.
