Job summary

Schmalz is seeking an Applications Engineer to design and support customized vacuum systems and automation solutions. You will test products, provide technical support and quotations, and use CAD tools while collaborating with customers, sales teams, and distributors.

The role requires 2–3 years in Sales or Applications Engineering, with strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Our ApplicationsEngineers design and support customized solutions by app lying expertise in vacuum systems, robotics, and manufacturing processes. The role involves testing products, providing technical support and quotations, using CAD tools, and collaborating with customers, sales teams, and distributors to deliver effective automation solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue developing their technical skills within a fast-paced engineer ing environment.

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 - 3years of in Sales or Applications Engineering. Candidates with industry experience in technology, sales channels, business development, strategic thinking, and project execution are preferred. Successful candidates will have strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills with the professionalism to represent Schmalz in high-visibility and technically demanding situations.

• This position reports to directly to the Manager, Applications Engineering
• You will work onsite during the initial training (Monday – Friday)
• Opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after completion of training
