Job summary

Schmalz Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager with 7+ years in pharma/medical devices to own the complete lifecycle of projects from quote development through delivery.

You will collaborate with Application Engineering and Inside Sales, establishing best practices for pharmaceutical project execution and laying the groundwork for a growing department in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role requires strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or highly regulated industries.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience supporting vendors, outside sales teams, key accounts and custom-engineered solutions.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete lifecycle of pharmaceutical projects from initial quote development through successful delivery.
• Collaborate with Application Engineering and Inside Sales to build best practices for project execution.
• Lay the groundwork for a growing pharmaceutical project management department.

Job description

This is a new role for our team, and we are looking for candidates with Project Management experience in the pharma and/or medical device fields.

This is a unique opportunity to own the complete lifecycle of pharmaceutical project s- from initial quote development through successful project delivery. You'll work alongside our Application Engineering and Inside Sales teams, build best practices for pharmaceutical project execution, and lay the groundwork for a growing department.

We are looking for candidates with at least 7+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or highly regulated industries. Candidates with PMP certification, and experience supporting vendors, outside sales teams, key accounts and custom-engineered solutions is preferred. Successful candidates will have strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills with the professionalism to represent Schmalz in high-visibility and technically demanding situations.

• This position reports to directly to the Director, Handling Systems
• You will work onsite during the initial training (Monday - Friday)
• Opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after completion of training
