Job summary

Brinkman Products - CJWinter Division in Rochester, NY seeks an Applications Engineer to design and optimize thread rolling solutions for a range of production applications. You will work directly with customers, develop practical processes, and support trials and implementations.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and travel to customer sites to drive improvements in productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–7 years of experience in applications engineering or related manufacturing roles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer applications and recommend thread rolling solutions, tooling, and process improvements.
• Review drawings, specifications, material requirements, and production objectives to develop optimal thread rolling processes.
• Develop, validate, and document thread rolling processes for new and existing applications.
• Support customer trials, process validation, troubleshooting, and production implementation activities.
• Travel to customer facilities as needed (approximately 5–15%).
