Job Juncture in Minnesota is seeking an Applications Engineer & Technical Account Manager for the industrial water treatment sector. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $125,000 per year plus uncapped commission, full benefits, and travel allowance.

Role requires 3+ years in technical B2B sales or consultative engineering and a Bachelor’s in Engineering. Remote work not indicated; travel up to 3+ hours daily across SE Minnesota is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental preferred).
• 3+ years of technical B2B sales or consultative engineering experience in heavy industrial markets.
• Knowledge of industrial water treatment, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, or fluid handling.
• Proven track record of meeting sales goals and expanding territory revenue.
• Willingness to manage a large regional footprint with daily field travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive Territory Strategy: primary technical consultant and Territory Manager for SE Minnesota.
• Deliver Consultative Engineering Solutions: field assessments for plants and industrial sites.
• Analyze Water Chemistry & System Specs: evaluate metrics to design automated systems.
• Engage Plant Leadership: work with facility managers and chief engineers on upgrades.
• Manage the Full Sales Cycle: prospecting, proposals, presentations, closing, growth.
• Execute Daily Field Travel: on-site reviews across SE Minnesota.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams: optimize equipment configurations with staff.
