Job summary

Pinpoint Laser Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Applications Engineer with strong hands-on mechanical skills and a technically oriented background, to join our team in Peabody, MA. The role emphasizes sales engineering, customer interactions, and delivering alignment solutions.

You will work with SolidWorks, CRM, and MS Office, collaborate with sales and manufacturing, and contribute to product design and customer projects in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Sales and building customer relationships.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in a growing manufacturing operation.
• Mechanical, Technical, Engineering experience with SolidWorks.
• Comfortable with customers and developing alignment/measuring solutions.
• Ability to understand and explain engineering problems.
• Innovative & creative participation with sales and manufacturing teams.
• Interest in working with industrial customers on solutions and designs.
• Comfortable in industrial and factory environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales engineering to support industrial customers.
• Use SolidWorks and machine shop knowledge to design alignment solutions.
• Interact with customers to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with sales and manufacturing teams to deliver projects.
• Proficient use of CRM and Microsoft Office to track activities.
