Job summary

Pinpoint Laser Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Applications Engineer with strong hands-on mechanical skills and a technically oriented background, to join our team in Peabody, MA. The role emphasizes sales engineering, customer interactions, and delivering alignment solutions.

You will work with SolidWorks, CRM, and MS Office, collaborate with sales and manufacturing, and contribute to product design and customer projects in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Sales and building customer relationships.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in a growing manufacturing operation.
• Mechanical, Technical, Engineering experience with SolidWorks.
• Comfortable with customers and developing alignment/measuring solutions.
• Ability to understand and explain engineering problems.
• Innovative & creative participation with sales and manufacturing teams.
• Interest in working with industrial customers on solutions and designs.
• Comfortable in industrial and factory environments.

Our team is based in a modern, newly renovated facility with engineering and alignment labs, full manufacturing capabilities, machine shop, on‑line video demonstration facility, and comfortable workspaces. We share ideas and strongly support team collaboration on customer projects, new product design, sales, and marketing projects.

The Position

The ideal candidate should have proven engineering and sales growth history and solid B2B experience with mechanical equipment and assemblies, manufacturing systems and mechanical design along with the ability to work with customers in a sales engineering role. Computer experience with CRM, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is needed. SolidWorks and machine shop experience is highly desirable.
