Job summary

Allient Milwaukee, a TCI manufacturer, seeks an engineering intern for on-site, part-time work in Germantown, WI during the school year and full-time in the summer. You will assist in applying, testing, repairing, and documenting TCI’s harmonic filter products in industrial power systems.

You’ll work hands-on with magnetic and power electronic filtering, gain experience in simulation, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting, and contribute to product support and documentation in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, magnetics, power systems, and analog/digital electronics.
• Exposure to 480V power laboratory safety and test methodologies.
• Willingness to take independent action and own tasks; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot field applications for active and/or passive filters.
• Assess field power systems and support testing, documentation, and field deployment.
