Job summary

Allient Milwaukee is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to aid in the application, testing, repair, and support of TCI's flagship harmonic filter products for industrial power systems. You will work hands-on in simulation, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, building and documenting filtering products.

The role offers part-time on-site work during the school year in Germantown, WI and full-time in the summer, providing valuable experience in high voltage lab environments with mentorship

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university engineering program.
• Prefer a Junior or Senior pursuing Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with power/energy focus and a minimum GPA.

Responsibilities

• Aid in application, testing, repair and support of TCI harmonic filter products in industrial power systems.
• Work hands-on in simulation, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, building and documentation of filtering products.
• Prototype/test new product platforms including passive filters, reactors and active filters.
• Learn safely in a high voltage power lab under qualified supervision.
